Before You Go is an immersive and durational performance that blurs the lines between dance, theater, and performing arts, creating a unique site-specific experience. In a country where boundaries transcend the physical and manifest as mental barriers, this exploration delves into the notion of being a stranger in your hometown. Before You Go plays with the roles and spaces shaping our social dynamics and interactions. It invites participants to embark on a walkable trail of performances through streets and neighborhoods, where reality and fiction intertwine. The performance transforms the common into an open field of possibilities, challenging perceptions and fostering connections in the eye of the beholder.

Before You Go combines pre-existing ready-mades and newly commissioned performances. The sites vary from private to public spaces, indoors and outdoors, with or without historical or cultural significance. With a customizable approach, Before You Go allows for adaptation in elements like performances, artist style, host, duration, and site. The recommended experience includes 4-6 performances in a walkable and diverse location, lasting 90-120 minutes, guided by a host.
