Following the launch of our first creative micro-lab, we and our participants found ourselves in the the thick of the revolution. With our full attention on daily politics, road closures and shifting dynamics, we joined forces with the lab’s participating creative thinkers and movers, and collectively decided to design experiences in close relation to the revolution itself. Our 17-person team aimed to create impact through the body - something that became highly visible during these times - and shape the experiences  to become programs and products that embody the power of movement in innovative ways. 

The process took place over the course of 4 weeks, starting off with an inspired - and inspiring - ideation session followed by an in depth design session. The result was 5 projects, 2 pilots, and 1 prototype ready to go to market.

mvp: yalla ncharrej - let’s recharge

Since the months leading up to 2020, people in Lebanon have been subject to intense stress and fatigue. Whomever you met came with high chances of telling you that they felt drained and tense from the situation. This Micro-Lab group of 4 participants chose to specifically address the needs of people - who because of the strained situation on all levels (personal and professional)  needed to recharge. 

Drawing on various disciplines such as yoga and dance therapy practices, Yalla Ncharrej was built around our movement and the 5 senses. The experience was first designed and tested in an indoor space to a group of 9 participants. The feedback was positive and insightful, giving the creators a chance to make some final changes to the experience. The result: a sustainable product experience ready to be placed on the market and accessed by all. 

Currently, Yalla Ncharrej is being adopted into company programs within the nonprofit sector.
